Two new members are coming onboard the personal accident committee at the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA).

Following a recent ballot at Lloyd’s, XL Catlin’s Paul De Vido and Vibe Syndicate Management’s Stephen Ranzetta have been elected to the committee effective immediately – joining 16 other members, as well as a chair and deputy chair.

At their respective firms, De Vido is senior class underwriter for accident and health (A&H) while Ranzetta holds the position of A&H class underwriter. They will be serving a term of five years.

“I am pleased to welcome Stephen and Paul to the LMA personal accident committee,” commented LMA head of non-marine David Powell. “Their expertise will be a valuable addition to the number of highly knowledgeable and experienced senior market practitioners who already serve on the committee.”

LMA’s personal accident committee is chaired by Ark Syndicate Management senior underwriter Charlie Boyd. Among its current priorities is the review of personal accident wordings that include cyber risks.
