Mann Broadbent unveils new product for sports, leisure market

New policy underwritten by major insurer targets small to medium-sized clubs

Specialist brokerage firm Mann Broadbent has launched its latest product that targets the sports and leisure market.
 
Underwritten by XL Catlin, the new Clubhouse package policy is aimed at small to medium-sized clubs and includes specialist covers for playing surfaces, floodlights and trophies.
 
“We have worked closely with the sports underwriters at XL Catlin to produce a wording that can cover the distinct needs of clubs,” said Mann Broadbent director Duncan Sutcliffe.
 
“The end result is extremely exciting and will undoubtedly be popular with brokers looking to place sports & leisure risks,” he added.
 
The new insurance package will sit alongside the firm’s existing schemes for liabilities, personal accident, equipment and coaches.
 
Mann Broadbent has been a niche sports and leisure broker for over 50 years, wholesaling its policies to other brokers across the UK.  It targets cricket teams, boat clubs, sailing schools, watersports centres
