Markerstudy Group of Companies (MSG) has turned to company veteran Russell Wilson (pictured) for the newly created position of group contact centres head.

“Russell has more than 20 years’ experience in operations and insurance call centres, and has positioned himself as the ideal candidate to lead our group contact centres into a new and vibrant chapter of evolution, ensuring our customers continue to receive an award-winning experience,” said chief operating officer Dan Fiehn.

Described as “home-grown talent,” Wilson became part of the group in 2009 in his capacity as a team leader for Chaucer Direct. He was promoted to operations manager and to head of direct in 2014 and 2018, respectively.

“During this time he has embraced the acquisition of Chaucer Direct by Markerstudy, and the development of the new brand Geoffrey Insurance,” noted MSG. “Russell has been instrumental in Geoffrey Insurance becoming a market leader in customer service, with his team winning numerous awards and also achieving a Defaqto 5-star rating for both car and commercial vehicle insurance.”

With a workforce of more than 3,000 people, the Kent-headquartered group is known for the likes of Auto Windscreens, BDML Connect Limited, Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited, VisionTrack, and Zenith Direct.
