Marsh has announced the appointments of Carrick Lambert and Sam Tiltman to the company’s Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) Practice. The CMT Practice provides insurance and risk advisory services to Marsh’s CMT clients in the UK and Ireland, along with multinational CMT clients with operations in the region.

Lambert has been appointed as leader of the CMT Practice. In that role, he’ll assume overall responsibility for the development of strategic solutions and will help CMT clients meet the constantly evolving insurance and risk management challenges they face, according to a news release. Lambert, who joined Marsh in 2008, has held numerous positions in insurance, client management and business development. Most recently, he served as a senior relationship officer and sales leader in Marsh’s UK Financial and Professional Division.

Tiltman, meanwhile, has been appointed as CMT Practice executive. He joins Marsh from JLT, where he served as global CMT practice leader. In his new role, Tiltman will support Lambert in managing the CMT Practice’s portfolio of clients and driving product innovation.

Both will report to Charles Beresford-Davies, risk management practice leader for the UK and Ireland.
“Faced with an increasingly complex and fast-moving risk environment, Marsh’s CMT clients require solutions, services and insights that are tailored to their particular needs,” Beresford-Davies said. “With the combination of Carrick’s leadership and Sam’s deep industry knowledge, Marsh is able to deliver unrivalled risk advice and risk solutions to CMT firms across the UK and Ireland.”
