July 02 will see managing general agents, insurers, and brokers gather at 133 Houndsditch in London for this year’s Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) conference and exhibition.

Tapped to serve as keynote speakers are Lloyd’s of London chief executive John Neal and veteran journalist Kate Adie CBE. The theme for 2019 is Survival of the Fittest.

Supported by headline sponsor Connexus, the fifth edition of the event will feature topics such as market hardening, underperforming classes, access to capacity, broker consolidation, regulatory challenges, as well as the opportunities for the MGA sector.

Mental health will be a key focus as well at the annual conference, which will also serve as the platform to introduce MGA Assess in partnership with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Designed to help businesses comply with the Insurance Distribution Directive, MGA Assess will serve as a training, testing, and compliance system for the sector.

Meanwhile more than 70 capacity providers and service suppliers will take part in the exhibition.
