London-based Baily Garner (Health & Safety) Ltd (BGHS or Baily Garner HS) has joined the PIB Group family.

Manned by a workforce of 18 people, the specialist independent health and safety consultancy will become part of PIB Risk Management, which is within the wider group’s specialty division. The BGHS line-up will remain intact under the company’s new ownership.

“We are very excited to welcome all our new colleagues at Baily Garner HS to PIB Group,” commented specialty chief executive Steven Redgwell. “They offer an extensive range of products and services which will see our comprehensive risk management proposition grow even further.

“We have also been very attracted to their collaborative style of working which is firmly at the heart of our culture. This makes them a great match for us, and we look forward to building our future together for the benefit of customers and colleagues.”

BGHS’s arrival will boost PIB Risk Management’s headcount to nearly 80 team members.

Managing director Paul Lennon had this to say: “We are excited to be part of the PIB Group and see this as a fantastic opportunity to leverage future plans for further growth and expansion. The ethos within PIB Risk Management is very similar to our own with the passion to be the best that we can be.

“We are looking forward to working closer together to enhance and develop our professional services to a wider audience. Our clients have been key to our success, and we want to continue to provide our clients with the comfort knowing that we have the depth and experience to continue this journey together.”

The acquired firm, whose trading history extends over three decades, offers construction design management services, monitoring inspections and audits, safety compliance audits, as well as health and safety training, management audits, and advice.

“I’d like to give a warm welcome to Paul and all our new colleagues at Baily Garner (Health & Safety) Ltd, who are another fantastic business joining PIB Group,” stated group boss Brendan McManus. “They have earned an outstanding reputation as trusted advisors in their field of health and safety, which is demonstrated through their long-standing recurring customer relationships.

“With PIB’s investment, I look forward to seeing the business grow further and for the team to keep innovating as they are continually looking for ways to improve and enhance their business model. Our new colleagues will be in good hands working closely with our PIB Risk Management team and building an even stronger risk management proposition together.”
