Pioneer Underwriters has appointed Rolando Rodriguez as vice president of diversified financial services at Pioneer Special Risk (PSR), the company’s US platform.
Based in New York, Rodriguez reports directly to Brian Hickey, senior vice president of diversified financial services.
Hickey said Rodriguez’s product line experience and proven expertise will help the company “to continue to excel in delivering innovative underwriting solutions for the financial services industry.”
Bringing more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Rodriguez joins from Herbert L. Jamison & Co., LLC where he was vice president of financial services. In that role, he was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carrier markets for financial institutions, professional liability, cyber security, fidelity bonds, and other risks.
Rodriguez also worked for
AIG,
CNA and
Marsh and McLennan. He started his career with Coface North America as a trade credit commercial underwriter.
