Policy Expert has today announced expansion plans across several of its key divisions which will see the UK-based digital insurer grow its total headcount to 700 by year-end 2023.
In a Press release, the personal lines insurtech revealed it is rapidly gaining market share, with 26% policyholder growth in the last 12 months and a double-digital share of price comparison website (PCW) sales. Policy Expert also revealed that to facilitate this multifaceted expansion plan, it is enhancing its recruitment process with the new roles sourced via a blind hiring process at the interview stage.
The firm noted that it continues to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion for the insurance industry, having recently launched a partnership with CodeFirstGirls to support women entering the tech industry through free technical courses and career pathways. In addition, Policy Expert has introduced a “Women at Work” forum and tailored mentoring programmes to give a voice and opportunities to people from every background.
