Policy Expert has today announced expansion plans across several of its key divisions which will see the UK-based digital insurer grow its total headcount to 700 by year-end 2023.

In a Press release, the personal lines insurtech revealed it is rapidly gaining market share, with 26% policyholder growth in the last 12 months and a double-digital share of price comparison website (PCW) sales. Touching on the 26 new roles it will be introducing, the firm revealed these will include:

Policy Expert also revealed that to facilitate this multifaceted expansion plan, it is enhancing its recruitment process with the new roles sourced via a blind hiring process at the interview stage.

The firm noted that it continues to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion for the insurance industry, having recently launched a partnership with CodeFirstGirls to support women entering the tech industry through free technical courses and career pathways. In addition, Policy Expert has introduced a “Women at Work” forum and tailored mentoring programmes to give a voice and opportunities to people from every background.
