QCH Legal has introduced a new brand identity as it marks a new phase in its integration with the QuestGates group.

The legal arm will now be known as QGLaw, operating independently as an authorised entity. Jason Spencer steps into the role of managing director at QGLaw, embarking on a campaign to recruit a team of legal experts throughout the UK.

“We have laid out robust expansion plans and are in the process of setting up multiple legal hubs across the UK, starting with Bolton, Birmingham, and London,” Spencer said. “The traditional law firm model presents challenges for progress, and by offering an innovative alternative, we are optimistic about attracting talent that will contribute to shaping our business to our clients' advantage.”

The firm is poised to concentrate on delivering essential legal services to the motor, casualty, and property sectors, with plans to extend its expertise into recoveries and fraud. Furthermore, QGLaw is set to broaden its reach into specialty markets and seek additional strategic opportunities.

Chris Hall, managing director of QuestGates, commented on the rebranding, a prime next step following its purchase of QCH Legal in November last year.

“The transition to QGLaw will bolster our proposition and foster growth, especially by aligning our services with the third-party, first-party, and specialist areas of QuestGates,” Hall said. “Our integrated approach enables us to establish a unique operational model, enhancing our agility and competitiveness, particularly in pricing.”

Elsewhere for the loss adjusting group, QuestGate also recently bolstered its presence in the UK motor claims sector through the acquisition of Claims Management & Adjusting Ltd (CMA), a Kent-based business that has been handling specialist vehicle claims for nearly three decades.
