Right Choice Insurance Brokers (RCIB) founder and managing director Michael Paul Joseph is now a non-executive director at Lionsgold Limited.
The gold company – which is focused on the exploration, production, and retail application of physical gold, including its development as a currency – has tapped the insurance boss to come onboard effective immediately.
Described as a “highly successful” entrepreneur, the 47-year-old formed RCIB in 2008. Based in Essex, the motor insurance specialist is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) while Joseph is an FCA approved person for relevant control functions.
“It is my pleasure to announce the addition of Michael Joseph to the board of Lionsgold,” commented Lionsgold chief executive Cameron Parry. “He is a highly successful and esteemed entrepreneur with the proven knowledge and ability to rapidly grow a customer-facing business in the financial services sector with a proprietary core technology.
“Michael is a key addition to the Liongold board as the company enters the commercialisation phase of giving people the choice to use a 100% reserve banking platform and hard currency. Furthermore, this new director appointment ties in to the company’s stated objective of applying for admission to trading on AIM in Q1 2019.”
