British insurer RSA has opened a new trading site in Birmingham where key commercial broker partners can trade locally with experienced underwriters.

The new site in Interchange Place on Edmund Street has been designed to enable RSA’s Platinum brokers to transact face-to-face with underwriters in an efficient way.

Through the facility, brokers can personally discuss new business opportunities with RSA broker account managers. They can also gain access to instant underwriting decisions across a full range of commercial insurance products.

“Our regional presence is important to us and the opening of this new Birmingham office is an exciting development in our history at the very heart of the Midlands’ insurance market,” said Lee Mooney, regions & SME director at RSA.

“This move reflects our ongoing commitment and investment to being the partner of choice and building stronger relationships with brokers, by providing easy, local access to the best of our products and experts,” Mooney added.

The opening of RSA’s new trading site follows the relocation of the company’s Birmingham operation from Colmore Row to Interchange Place.
