Staysure Group, through its pet insurance brand Petsure, has launched a new product that claims to provide insurance to all pet dogs and cats, regardless of age or pre-existing conditions.
According to Petsure, it does not have restrictions for older pets (usually classified as eight or 10 years old). It also allows customers to build a policy that suits them, and their pets needs through different add-ons such as dental illness.
The pet insurer has a wide range of vet fee levels, ranging from £1,000 to £15,000, regardless of whether the pet has pre-existing medical conditions or not. Up to eight cats or dogs can be included under one policy, with four add-on options, including travel and holiday cover, as well as assistance to help find the pet in case it goes missing. Petsure also provides a free 24/7 video consultation service through FirstVet, which can be especially helpful during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of its product launch, the company launched the Petsure Games, a pet Paralympic-style event which will be held at the Bath & West Country Festival from August 27 to August 29. The games are suited for all dogs, even those which are elderly, disabled or have pre-existing health conditions.
