Tasker Insurance Group Limited (TIG), which unveiled a unifying rebrand in the fourth quarter of 2018, has welcomed a new member to its executive team.
Making the switch from Marsh UK where he served as finance director for Jelf is new TIG chief financial officer Jonathan Webber. The key arrival, who has relocated from Yorkshire and will be based in the growing enterprise’s London and Dartford offices, also spent time at the likes of SMEI Group and GMAC Insurance.
“I am really excited to be joining such a dynamic team in a period of growth and innovation,” commented Webber. “With my SMEI experience I am looking forward to being back at a company who are at the start of their evolution and growth phase.”
Last October the £40 million GWP (gross written premium) intermediary group – made up of retail broking business Tasker Insurance Brokers, Lloyd’s broker Tasker & Partners, and managing general agent Gresham Underwriting – told Insurance Business about its appetite for expansion both in terms of regional footprint in the UK and specialisms.
Webber’s appointment comes four months after chief operating officer Graeme Lalley joined TIG.
