Thirty-year veteran joins ALPS

There is a new head of sales at motor claims solutions provider Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS).

The firm has appointed former Applied Systems director of corporate accounts Lyndon Willshire (pictured) to the role. Willshire boasts more than 30 years’ experience in the industry including more than 20 years at DAS as head of corporate partnerships and then head of sales and marketing.

“The claims and legal expenses market in particular is undergoing massive change; it is an exciting time to be involved in the industry for those players like ALPS who are getting it right,” he said. “ALPS has a great reputation amongst brokers for its partnership approach to developing and marketing innovative products that puts the customer experience first, so I am looking forward to bringing my experience to bear in working closely with our customers and partners to understand their needs and develop innovate market leading solutions in this market that are truly customer led.”

In his new role, Willshire will lead a nationwide team of business development managers with the aim of improving value propositions for insurance brokers.
