Motor claims solutions provider Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS) has strengthened its team with the promotion of Zack Oakes as business development manager.

In his new role as part of the business development team, Oakes will be responsible for managing and growing some existing client accounts. He will also develop new business and help grow ALPS’s market presence.

Commenting on his promotion, Oakes said that he always wanted to work in the sales environment.

“I am looking forward to my new role and getting out into the market to get to know our existing broker partners better,” he said.” I hope to give them the support they need as well as meeting potential new clients. In time, I would like to develop some key relationships and play a part in the future growth of ALPS.”

Oakes joined ALPS in 2014 as a claims handler and has since worked his way up to a team leader. Sales and marketing director Ben Lemmon said Oakes has a “keen eye for problem solving and a reputation for first class service delivery to clients.”

“This, alongside his personality and leadership skills, makes him a great addition to the business development team,” he said.
