There is a new head of broking for GB financial, executive and professional at Willis Towers Watson.

The brokerage giant has brought in Marsh veteran Mark Russell-Vick for the role. Vick spent 30 years with Marsh and was previously managing director and head of placement for Marsh FINPRO UK where he developed and implemented client solutions.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the Finex GB broking and segmentation strategy, reporting to head of Finex GB Olivia Cooper and GB CRB head of broking, Clyde Bernstein.

“We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Mark as our head of broking for GB Finex,” said Cooper. “In this volatile and uncertain environment, financial and executive risks such as cyber, D&O and PI have come under the spotlight. Ensuring that we have the best broking talent available to deliver bespoke client solutions is essential during this turbulent time.”

Meanwhile, Bernstein described the appointment as “central” to the firm in forming a consistent broking strategy.

“As brokers, getting the best value for clients is as important today as ever and Mark will be a great addition to our high performing team,” he said. “We are delighted to welcome Mark to Willis Towers Watson.”
