Zurich snaps up Chubb executive

Graham Wood has made the switch from Chubb – where he served as accident and health (A&H) business development manager for the North & Scotland regions – to Zurich where he is now head of regional business development for A&H.

The key arrival brings a wealth of experience from the likes of Legal & General, Cigna/Ace Insurance, and Independent Insurance to the newly created leadership position.

Stephen Moss, head of specialty lines, commercial insurance UK, described Wood as highly respected in the market and said the important appointment is reflective of Zurich’s strategic ambitions to invest and expand its regional A&H capabilities.

“To have a highly motivated individual join our team – someone who can help share our strategic vision and put robust plans in place for the future – fills me with great optimism for the future,” he commented.

In addition, Moss believes crucial to the role are the building and maintaining of client relationships, constant analysis of customer needs, and the ongoing assessment of evolving risk.
