Miller has appointed Sally Hinchey to the newly created role of head of surety. Based in London, Hinchey will report to Pauline Goreham, head of construction.

Hinchey joins Miller after 12 years with Willis Towers Watson, where she was most recently surety director. In this role, she led the global brokerage’s surety proposition in the UK. Earlier in her career, she was a client advisor with Marsh.

As head of surety, Hinchey will be responsible for leading and developing Miller’s surety offering, working closely with the construction team to further its capabilities in the market. She will also lend her expertise to support growth across Miller’s other lines of business.

“I’m delighted to welcome Sally to the business as our new head of surety,” Goreham said. “With extensive experience leading and growing client relationships in the surety market, her appointment is an important milestone as we look to build out a strong surety proposition. Sally’s appointment will support the expansion of our construction offering, while also adding value to a number of other teams at Miller, furthering our commitment to providing a market-leading service for our clients and partners.”
