Arch Insurance has announced the immediate appointments of Sergio Pierro (pictured above, left) as senior cyber underwriter and Roxanne Deslandes (pictured above, right) as cyber underwriter.
Pierro and Deslandes are the newest additions to Arch Insurance (EU) dac, a subsidiary specializing in property and casualty (P&C) insurance solutions operating within the European Union. Based in Paris, Pierro is entrusted with the pivotal task of establishing the company's operations in France. He will work closely with Deslandes to expand the European cyber insurance portfolio, catering to multinational organizations by offering primary and excess coverage.
Deslandes, on the other hand, joins Arch Insurance from Bessé, where she was a valued member of the cyber risk advisory team. Her background encompasses diverse roles in insurance, broking, and cybersecurity advisory. Deslandes has previously lent her expertise to esteemed organizations such as Marsh, Airbus, and Thales.
“Sergio has a wealth of experience within the French insurance market and is ideally placed to launch our operations in Paris, working closely with Roxanne to grow our cyber portfolio. Their combined depth of expertise and broker relationships will be essential as we continue to build our service proposition and establish Arch as a leading carrier within Europe,” Arch Insurance (EU) dac chief underwriting officer Matthew Brophy said.
In other recent developments for the insurance group, Arch Reinsurance Ltd. has announced the promotions of Crystal Doughty and William Soares to the positions of chief underwriting officer for property and chief underwriting officer for casualty and specialty, respectively.
