A familiar face has made the switch from DAC Beachcroft to Beazley.
Helen Nuttall (pictured), who was previously on secondment with the specialist insurer, has been appointed as breach response manager to bolster Beazley’s international breach response team based in London. The cyber insurance lawyer, who was an associate at the international law firm, is experienced in handling data breaches and providing data privacy guidance to clients.
In her new role, Nuttall will be in charge of dealing with international breach incidents and overseeing breach management for Beazley Breach Response cyber policyholders outside the US and Canada. In addition, she will be working closely with Beazley underwriters to develop cyber breach offerings.
“We are delighted to welcome Helen to our team,” said international breach services manager Raf Sanchez. “She spent several months on secondment with us in 2016 helping us expand our non-US breach response infrastructure and knows Beazley well.
“Her practical, hands-on experience will be invaluable as we help clients navigate the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in terms of both compliance and responding appropriately to data breaches.”
GDPR comes into force on May 25.
