A “very excited” Chris Strong is now part of the Willis Towers Watson (WTW) roster in London in his new capacity as head of WTW’s environmental practice.

On LinkedIn, the broking giant noted: “Our environmental practice is a crucial part of our overall global market P&C (property and casualty) offering.

“In a world that is increasingly focussed on damage to the environment from corporate activity, environmental liability is increasingly becoming a key coverage for our clients, and we are delighted to be strengthening our team with [the] appointment of Chris Strong.”

“Our environmental practice,” added WTW, “provides environmental insurance expertise, specialised market knowledge, technical support, and claims advocacy services across a wide range of industry sectors, including chemical, manufacturing, construction, and waste disposal.”

Strong made the switch from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. His credentials also include years spent at AIG, Chubb, and QBE.

“[I’m] very excited to be joining the excellent Willis Towers Watson team today (December 15),” commented the key hire online.
