German airline Lufthansa is reportedly looking to sell its in-house insurer Delvag and insurance broker Albatros to streamline the company’s operations.

Citing people familiar with the matter, a Bloomberg report published by BNN Bloomberg said the search for a buyer is underway, with advisers already working with the major carrier.

According to the report, Delvag offers air cargo, sea freight, and transport coverage while Albatros acts as an intermediary for airlines in need of fleet cover.

Lufthansa, which earlier this year sold its catering business, has neither denied nor confirmed the supposed move.
