International General Insurance Holdings (IGI) has added Ian Noble to its London office to replace Chris Mauduit as casualty and professional lines head.

Noble, who most recently served as professional indemnity senior class underwriter at Chaucer, brings 34 years of broking and underwriting experience in professional lines in the Lloyd’s of London and company markets to IGI.

“I am delighted to welcome someone with Ian’s calibre, experience, and market knowledge to the IGI team,” said IGI president Waleed Jabsheh. “With Ian’s expertise, we will further develop our professional lines business, while continuing to provide first-class service to our brokers and clients.”

The key arrival, whose credentials include years spent at Brit Insurance, will be in charge of offerings such as professional indemnity, directors & officers, legal expenses, and general third-party liability. Noble’s predecessor retired on June 30.

Meanwhile Jabsheh thanked Mauduit for his service. “He has been instrumental in building a foundation of success for Ian to develop further,” noted the president. “We wish Chris all the best in his retirement.”
