Managing general agent Landmark Underwriting now has an underwriting head and a new head of professional indemnity (PI).

Kate Albert (pictured above), previously Landmark’s PI head for the UK and Europe, became the company’s head of underwriting, while Christopher White (pictured below) will be in charge of all PI risks for all regions. Prior to his promotion, White was PI head for Australia and Canada.

The head of PI joins directors and officers (D&O) head Stefan Cole and property head Andrew Ravenscroft to complete the new senior underwriting team at Landmark. The trio will be led by Albert.

“It has been an exciting year for Landmark, [with] our acquisition successes and within the London office seeing the D&O team grow and introducing our first property team,” said managing director David Ratledge.

“Having Kate taking the newly created role of head of underwriting will allow the management team to develop and grow further during 2023. Chris has shown a solid performance during 2022 and will see his global PI knowledge assisting in growing our international offering to our partners.”
