UK-based insurtech Inzura has launched “Inzura DashCam,” its white-label dashcam and telematics offering which features an automatic video FNOL (first notice of loss) capability.

“Inzura DashCam represents another big step forward for brokers and insurers who want to modernise and digitise their insurance business,” stated Inzura chief executive Richard Jelbert.

“Brokers and insurers of the future are embracing digital strategies as the best way to deliver something entirely new and customer-centric – differentiating their brand to customers and delivering impressive underwriting improvements.”

Described as fully digital, the new product includes a high-quality Mio733 camera as well as a branded app for seamless management of the camera set-up and operation. More importantly, users will not have to upload video data, as accident video files are automatically uploaded to the insurer.

In addition, Inzura said the cost-effective solution can be easily deployed in less than six weeks.

“The ability to deploy an affordable dashcam insurance product ‘out of the box’ in under six weeks, gives brokers a powerful marketing and business tool,” commented Inzura co-founder and chief operating officer Ian McWilliams.

“It also delivers undeniable negotiating power with underwriters, making products more competitive thanks to the ability to price risk with a high degree of accuracy.”
