Partnership forms to help brokers go digital

If you were constantly putting off your technological upgrade for another day, chances are that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought that procrastination to an end. Insurance has gone digital – whether that’s through Zoom and Teams calls, chatbots or just communicating through social media platforms. The technological revolution has arrived and it’s here to stay.

For brokers looking to embrace digital practices, help is at hand. Ignite Software Systems Ltd, a policy administration software provider, has teamed with technology provider Innoveo, to launch a new partnership.

As part of the deal, the digital agency platform eBro is integrated into the full-cycle back office system of Ignite Broker. This allows brokers and insurers to build and bring new products to market or adapt their current offerings without the need for development work.

According to Toby MacLachlan (pictured), MD of Ignite, the result is a flexible out of the box system.

“We were hugely impressed by the Innoveo system and team from the moment we met,” he said. “The integration we have achieved with Innoveo Skye is truly innovative in being product-agnostic. Our future clients can build their products autonomously without needing a legacy back-office system. We are already in the advanced stages of implementation with a top 20 UK Broker and Innoveo’s global reach opens exciting new markets for us.”

Meanwhile, Amir Ghaffar, president and CEO of Innoveo, noted that brokers have often been held back by legacy systems.

“Our integration and partnership with Ignite bypasses the need to integrate our no-code platform with our insurance client’s legacy policy admin systems,” he said. “The eBro system combined with Ignite Broker is relevant and exciting on a global scale.”
