Grace is making an industry-wide impact with her career, a trailblazer forging a path for the future of insurance talent as Executive Director of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS). Under Grace’s leadership, GIS, the insurance industry’s collegiate talent pipeline, is leading the way in the expansion and diversification of the insurance industry’s talent pipeline.

Over the last 8 years, Grace has led Gamma Iota Sigma’s robust growth, expanding the number of chapters from 57 to 95 and more than doubling the membership base of students from 2,000 to 6,000. She spearheaded the launch of its inclusive membership initiative to engage students of all majors and backgrounds for insurance careers, and championed a significant expansion of the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy including ground-breaking diversity events and initiatives to equip HBCU, female, LGBTQ, Hispanic, and other students of a variety of underrepresented groups for success in the insurance industry. Grace’s commitment to transparency, authenticity, and collaboration has enabled the creation of industry-wide forums and roundtables including industry leaders, students, and faculty across North America. Her ability to build relationships across the industry has resulted in a revitalized governing model for the organization, energizing the organization’s Board of Trustees to further the mission of GIS. Her unwavering dedication to empowering the industry’s talent reflects internally as well, as she fosters a rejuvenated and positive culture for Gamma Iota Sigma employees, and positions the organization for transformative growth and future success.

Grace has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years of insurance industry non-profit leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a pre-law concentration and economics minor from Wittenberg University, and pursued a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ashland University.

In her career and beyond, Grace is a fierce advocate for philanthropy and community. She serves on multiple industry committees and Boards, and gives back to her local community as the Commissioner of the Little League, PTO President at the elementary school of her five children, church and community volunteer.
