Insurance broker and fintech Acrisure has formed its Great Lakes region, consolidating the company’s businesses in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio under a single identity.

“Over the last year, Acrisure has rapidly rolled out the Acrisure brand to its businesses throughout the United States to ensure clients know the breadth of solutions it offers people’s businesses and lives, including insurance, mortgage origination, cyber services, payroll, and much more,” Acrisure said in its announcement.

Under the leadership of Great Lakes managing partner Kelly Reed, the region spans more than 1,100 Acrisure colleagues who serve over 180,000 clients.

“This area of the US has further significance within Acrisure – namely, the company’s headquarters are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and in 2023 Acrisure opened an office in Columbus, Ohio for its growing digital sales and service team,” Acrisure highlighted.

Consolidating the group’s operations in the three states under one name marks Acrisure’s fifth rebrand this year.

“Rebranding under the Acrisure name will enable our colleagues to provide more tech-driven solutions for our clients,” Reed noted. “Teams across the region now have access to Acrisure’s best-in-class technology and a deep bench of specialists who are prepared to help clients throughout the Great Lakes.

“I couldn’t be more excited for Greg [Williams, Acrisure co-founder, chair and chief executive] to entrust me with leading the region where it all began. We expect great things to come in 2024 and beyond.”

“When we started Acrisure almost 20 years ago, our vision was to disrupt the insurance brokerage industry,” Williams recalled. “It all started in this part of the country.

“That said, this milestone is more about the future than the past… I’m deeply appreciative to the teams who have come together as Acrisure today (March 11), and for all they do to serve the total needs of our clients.”
