It’s all change at the top at Paris-headquartered insurance giant AXA.

Last month it was announced that retiring group chief financial officer Gérald Harlin will be succeeded by AXA Hong Kong chief executive Etienne Bouas-Laurent, who will initially serve as deputy CFO come September before officially taking over on January 01, 2020.

In addition, the group’s chief risk officer and head of insurance office Alban de Mailly Nesle, an existing member of the management committee, has been tapped for the larger role of risks and investments director. Now it’s been revealed who will replace him as group CRO in September.

Subject to regulatory approval, Renaud Guidée will join AXA from Goldman Sachs where he is currently managing director in France. Guidée, who became part of the major investment bank in 2011 as executive director in London before moving on to his MD post in 2015, will be reporting to de Mailly Nesle.

Also coming onboard the management committee less than two months from now are incoming chief strategy and business development officer Georges Desvaux and current chief human resources officer Karima Silvent.
