Arthur J. Gallagher has announced the acquisition of Louisiana-based Watkins Insurance & Benefits (doing business as Watkins Group – Insurance & Benefits Specialists). The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Watkins Group offers employee benefits for corporations of all sizes, as well as individual and Medicare coverages, to clients throughout central Louisiana. Wesley Watkins and his associates will remain in their current location and will report to Robby White, South Central region leader for Gallagher’s employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
