Since its founding in 2015 by Ed McNamara and Ed Purcell, Armada Risk Partners has tripled its revenue while maintaining overhead costs. The company thrived even in a time of crisis, growing its revenue even during the COVID-19 pandemic. That success helped Armada Risk Partners earn a slot on IBA’s 2022 Fast Brokerages list.

Armada Risk Partners boasts a team of experienced property and casualty, health and benefits, and private risk producers, brokers and managers. Armada’s team members have served at some of the largest brokers and carriers in the industry. They joined the company to have the opportunity to better serve clients as a valued partner, Armada said.

The firm’s primary focus is to shield companies and their employees from catastrophes by providing insurance products and offering unique growth strategies. Armada’s employees maintain a specific core focus to best align the company’s strengths with its clients’ goals, the company said. Armada team members understand their clients’ risk management objectives and structure customized insurance programs through a consultative process.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, and Southland, Mich., Armada Risk Partners’ mission is to foster trusted partnerships with its clients, mitigate risks that can have a detrimental impact on their business, and help them grow.

IBA’s Fast Brokerages list recognizes firms that did not merely survive the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, but actually thrived. The list includes brokerages that experienced more than 20% growth in revenue volume over the past two years. A total of 23 brokerages made the final list this year.
