Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions has awarded $3,000 college scholarships to 16 students connected to its employees and distribution partners.

The annual program recognizes students for academic achievement, leadership, and involvement in their schools and communities. This year’s recipients are preparing to attend colleges and universities across the US, with one student still undecided on where to enroll this fall.

Since 2003, the scholarship program has awarded scholarships to nearly 400 students. It is funded by the Intact Charitable Trust and administered by Scholarship America, a nonprofit scholarship program administrator.

"We're continually inspired by the passion and determination of our applicants. We're proud to recognize this year's recipients for their achievements and support them as they pursue their academic goals,” said Lynn O'Leary, EVP and chief operating officer, Global Specialty Lines at Intact.
