Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Rubin (pictured) to the newly created role of senior underwriting executive and head of terrorism underwriting in North America.

Rubin will be based in New York. She will report to Alex Montoya, LSM president of US, Bermuda and Latin America.

“Jennifer will provide leadership to various underwriting lines,” Montoya said. “Her initial focus will be on our North America war and terrorism team, which has seen a significant increase in US terrorism submissions. Jennifer’s leadership will enable us to provide bespoke solutions to satisfy that growing demand.”

Rubin has 19 years of industry experience. Prior to joining LSM, she served as senior vice president and head of property and terrorism at Hiscox USA.
