Relation Insurance Services has completed its acquisition of the assets of Advantage Insurance Group, effective May 31.
Advantage Insurance Group, based in El Reno, Okla., is a family-owned insurance agency that offers a range of personal and commercial insurance products. The firm will maintain its local presence under the continued leadership of owners Geoff Eaton and Ryan Eaton. The existing staff is expected to remain in place.
Geoff Eaton (pictured above) said the new partnership positions the business to expand its offerings through the access provided by Relation's carrier relationships, internal resources, and industry expertise.
“Being able to provide the wealth of carrier relationships, the size and scope of resources, and in-house expertise that Relation has available, will allow us to provide more valuable options to our clientele,” he said.
Tim Hall, CEO of Relation, said Advantage Insurance Group contributes experience in both personal and commercial lines, enhancing Relation's reach in the Oklahoma market.
“Their experience in both personal lines and commercial insurance products brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and helps to provide a more robust client experience when it comes to understanding the variables involved in selecting the right coverage,” Hall said.
The acquisition of Advantage Insurance Group follows several other transactions by Relation aimed at expanding its regional and specialty capabilities. In May, Relation acquired Engle and Associates Insurance Brokers, a family-run agency with more than four decades of experience in personal and commercial lines.
Relation has also extended its reach into aviation insurance through recent acquisitions. These include True-Course Aviation Insurance Services Inc., acquired in March, and Business Aviation Insurance Services, Inc., acquired in November.
In December, Relation also acquired Forest Insurance Agency, based in Illinois. That firm added further depth to Relation’s personal and business insurance operations and helped broaden its geographic footprint in the Midwest.
