Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services, a membership alliance for insurance agencies, has appointed Robert A. Bondi (pictured) as its new president. In his new role, Bondi will work to accelerate growth and income for the independent agency members of the alliance.

As president, Bondi will lead the Agency Services Group, which comprises teams that deliver marketing, onboarding and training, policy placement, customer service, and billing and reconciliation services to agency members. He will also oversee the creation of a service model that uses agency growth partners and analytics to identify agency opportunities.

“We’re very excited that members will be able to leverage Bob’s considerably strong industry expertise to their advantage,” said J. Bruce Cochrane, CEO of Renaissance Alliance.

“We are dedicating 2019 to accelerating the growth of our independent agency members, and Bob Bondi’s appointment underscores that commitment,” said Keven Callahan, the alliance’s executive chairman. “He is a transformational executive with a proven record of successfully executing innovative strategies to maximize business performance.”

Callahan said that Bondi’s role would be increasingly important as the alliance executes plans to expand beyond New England in the near future.

Prior to taking his new role, Bondi served as the chief operating officer of Confie, the country’s largest personal lines broker. He has also served as president of CIGH, an insurance agency that served policyholders in 200 locations across eight states. Bondi has also held executive roles at Affirmative Insurance, Aon Client Services, Aon Capital Markets, and Mellon Bank.
