After posting considerable annual growth records a year earlier, independent insurance agency network Smart Choice has reported that it once again broken annual growth records for the fourth straight year in 2018.
In 2018, Smart Choice added at least 1,178 new agency partners. The agency network also posted more than 26% gross revenue growth last year – its fourth straight year of double-digit increases.
The company noted that two of its divisions – Smart Start and Express Markets – experienced significant growth. The Smart Start program increased by 64%, while the E&S division Express Markets enjoyed a 51% increase.
“Agencies are choosing Smart Choice because we stay true to the core values that we started with over 20 years ago – which means doing the best thing for agents and the industry as a whole,” Smart Choice president Andrew Caldwell said in a release. “Every day we remain dedicated to seeing our agency partners’ success and committed to profitable growth with our carrier partners.”
At present, Smart Choice serves 7,000 agents in 44 states; the network has partnered with over 100 carriers.
