The Hilb Group (THG) has announced the acquisition of Aoisio Insurance Associates (AIA).
Rhode Island-based AIA is a full-service insurance agency that primarily provides property and casualty insurance to individuals and businesses within the Rhode Island area. AIA and its employees will join THG’s regional operations in New England.
“Joining THG will allow us to further support our clients with a multitude of additional services,” said Art Aloisio, president of AIA. “Our team is looking forward to the next chapter in AIA’s history with expanded resources and the ability to collaborate with THG agencies across the nation.”

AIA is the latest of a number of New England-based acquisitions for THG. The company has recently acquired H.J. Knight International Insurance Agency, Bruce Cohn LLC, and Mackintire Insurance Agency, all based in Massachusetts.
