Transamerica has announced the appointment of Wendy Boyd as head of life distribution for the company’s Individual Solutions division, which provides individual insurance and investment services for customers throughout the US.
In her new role, Boyd will be responsible for sales strategy and execution across a broad portfolio of life insurance products. She will also lead Transamerica’s life distributors, brokerage, and agency network teams. Boyd will report to Dave Curry, chief distribution officer for the Individual Solutions division.
“Wendy excels at client service and engagement and will grow, retain and generate new sales,” Curry said. “She is known for her results-driven philosophy, and she has a proven track record of driving new growth initiatives to great success. Boyd has more than 30 years of industry-related expertise in sales, sales operations, strategic leadership, and learning and development. Prior to joining Transamerica, she ran Lincoln Financial Group’s agency network.
