The Hanover Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Mina S. Rona (pictured above) as president of technology and life sciences.

Rona joined The Hanover eight years ago and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of its life sciences and technology capabilities, the company said. Prior to taking on her latest role, she served as chief underwriting officer for technology and life sciences underwriting.

Rona has 26 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining The Hanover, she served as a zone underwriting officer at Travelers Global Technology Insurance.

In September, The Hanover announced the appointments of Stephanie E. Siebold as president of alternative markets and Arthur J. Barrett as president of programs. In August, the company announced the appointment of Charles F. Hamann as president of small commercial.
