Mergers & Acquisitions

Insurance brokerage ALKEME has added another business to its roster of acquisitions.

The rapidly growing company, which has completed more than 40 deals since 2020, now owns Ferrante Insurance Services in California.

The Concord-based retail insurance agency serves the entire Western US, specializing in commercial risk solutions for contractors including general liability, workers’ compensation, and business auto.

“We are really excited and confident that joining ALKEME will allow us to be better equipped to serve our clients with new, innovative solutions,” Ferrante Insurance Services president Frank Ferrante said in a release.

“ALKEME’s proven growth platform and amazing resources were a no-brainer when we were looking for a partner to help secure the future of our agency.”

Ferrante Insurance Services has been trading since 1996.

Commenting on the transaction, financial terms of which were not disclosed, ALKEME chief executive Curtis Barton said: “We are really excited to welcome Ferrante Insurance Services and their growing Northern California practice to the ALKEME family.

“Frank has built an amazing team with a commitment to serving contractors with exemplary service, which perfectly aligns with our values. By joining forces, we will be well positioned to achieve great things and better serve Ferrante’s current and future clients.”

ALKEME operates from over 35 locations in 16 states. Last month, the company acquired Beveridge & Akers Insurance Company and Mogul Wealth Strategies.
