Appointed as CEO at Crawford & Company in April 2020, Rohit Verma focuses on company strategy and growth, business operations, investor relations, and client relationships, with an emphasis on technology and innovation. With more than 20 years of international strategic expertise across Europe, Asia, and North America, most recently as the company’s COO, Verma has realigned the company to its global service line structure and has driven growth from the front, launching several innovative solutions, capturing new business, and creating an imperative for client centricity. Prior to Crawford, Rohit was regional executive for the south region of Zurich North America. In his 10 years with Zurich, he served in a number of executive management roles across underwriting, finance, strategy, and general management. Before joining Zurich, Rohit worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. In 2012, he was recognised as a “Top 5 Insurance Executive Under 40” by the National Underwriters Magazine. He earned an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from University of Delhi, India,  and master’s degree from Northwestern University.
