NobleOak Life (NobleOak), a  direct life insurer, has entered a strategic partnership with Heritage Bank to provide the bank’s customers with life insurance solutions.

NobleOak is an independent APRA-regulated Australian life insurance provider with a 144-year history, dating back to one of the first benevolent societies in Australia, the United Ancient Order of Druids Friendly Society of NSW. After its demutualisation in 2011, the insurer repositioned its business model, launching direct-to-consumer life insurance products through its modern and intuitive digital platform.

The partnership aims to help Heritage Bank members access information about life insurance options to protect the financial security of their families and loved ones. As part of the deal, Heritage Bank customers may access a two-month free launch offer if they take out coverage before September 30, 2022.

The NobleOak life insurance product will be initially available by referral via Heritage Bank’s online channels. Later this year, information will be available in-branch and via a referral model.

NobleOak CEO Anthony Brown said the partnership brought together two brands committed to prioritising their customers.

“NobleOak Life puts customers at the heart of everything we do, and we are delighted to have partnered with Heritage Bank, an organisation that shares our people-centric approach,” Brown said.

With the new option further protecting Heritage Bank members and their loved ones, Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock commented: “Heritage is proud to be one of Australia’s largest customer-owned financial institutions, and we are committed to supporting our members through the different stages of their life journey. We look forward to working with NobleOak to enhance the authentic experiences and overall great value we provide to our members through life insurance.”

Heritage Bank’s other insurance offerings through partnerships with insurers include building and contents, motor, landlord, and business insurance.
