As it looks to enhance the services it offers to customers, Direct Line Group has today revealed a swoop for an auto services centre based in Weybridge.

The accident repair centre will become part of the DLG Auto Services network as the group continues to invest in technology, equipment and training. The site has the BS10125 accreditation meaning it operates to the highest safety standards.

“I’m delighted to announce that our DLG Auto Services network continues to grow and today we have agreed a deal to obtain an accident repair centre in Weybridge,” said Paul Nightingale, director of motor networks and engineering services.

“This acquisition marks another big milestone in the DLG Auto Services journey, bringing our network of sites to 21. We have an ambition to be the best motor repairer in the UK and acquiring the new service centre demonstrates our commitment and ambition to make repairs easier for customers, putting them safely back on the road while delivering more customers a great service.”

Existing employees have been informed of the purchase and a consultation process for them to transfer to Direct Line Group is underway.
