Insurance market insight firm Consumer Intelligence has unveiled the winners of its awards for motor and home insurance companies for 2024.

These awards, which are now in their ninth iteration, are determined directly by customer feedback and offer a genuine reflection of consumer satisfaction across the industry.

Spanning five key areas – customer trust, customer service, claims satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and recommendation by customers – the awards identify top performers in both motor and home insurance sectors. Each category sees 10 insurers recognised.

The awards are the outcome of the Insurance Behaviour Tracker (IBT), an extensive survey tool by Consumer Intelligence that gathers opinions from nearly 50,000 customers throughout the year.

Catherine Carey, head of marketing at Consumer Intelligence, highlighted the significance of the awards in the context of the newly introduced Consumer Duty regulations.

“The winners this year have shown they can listen to, and meet, their customers' needs,” Carey said. “This kind of expertise and consistency is exactly what consumers want and look for in an insurance provider.”
