Insurance software provider Applied Systems has rolled out the latest version of the world’s most-widely used broker management system.

The company said Applied TAM 2016 is equipped with new capabilities to increase insurer connectivity and to enhance digital automation of business operations.

“Insurance brokers worldwide are undergoing digital transformation to further automate business operations and provide elevated customer service,” said Jeff Purdy, senior vice president of international operations at Applied Systems.

Key enhancements of the new system include expanded document management, which enables brokerage staff to easily and quickly move attachments from one entity, policy or claim to another.

An improved accounting feature also streamlines the settlement process and provides more efficient access to accounting balances.

Applied TAM 2016 is geared up with a bespoke communications enhancement that allows brokers to add a customised signature and organisation’s logo to all emails being sent via the system’s integrated messaging feature.

The system’s latest version also eliminates the need for mapped drives to enhance the overall database security for Applied TAM users.
