Personal lines insurance broker Airsports Insurance Bureau (AIB) is now a member of the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA).

Commenting on the development, AIB risk & compliance director Karen Manley cited the trade body’s “fundamental role” within the insurance broking profession.

“We look forward to working alongside BIBA, and this membership will be a benefit to our growing business,” said Manley, who noted that the Eastleigh-based company continues to enjoy significant growth despite challenging times both inside and outside the industry.

Founded in 1993, the new BIBA broker has a panel of more than 30 insurer partners and describes itself as having a passion for insuring high net worth and niche personal lines clients.

AIB joins the general insurance intermediary organisation’s more than 2,300 members.
