A collection of insurance products for property owners has been launched on the online commercial trading platform, PowerPlace Micro.

Developed by Open GI, PowerPlace is a service which allows brokers to trade online in a number of ways. Aro is the latest in a long list of insurance partners already working with the service including Allianz, AXA, Covea, LV= and Towergate Underwriting.

Managing director of Aro Underwriting James Bright said PowerPlace is one of a small number of key partners supporting Aro’s growth for the next three years.

“Our online property owner products (residential landlord, blocks of flats and commercial property owners) are an important part of our future development and we are delighted to be partnering with PowerPlace and its extensive distribution network,” he said.

PowerPlace CEO Nick Giddings said Powerplace gives brokers a cost-effective way of trading commercial lines.

“Aro Underwriting is joining PowerPlace Micro at an exciting time, and strengthens our property owners’ panel even further whilst reinforcing our plans to grow the platform,” he said.
Aro Underwriting also recently entered a deal to provide commercial and residential property owners’ products for Broker Direct’s network members.
