Leading insurance broker Brightside Group has signed a new three-year contract with National Windscreens, a vehicle glass repair and replacement specialist in the UK.

The new deal will see National Windscreens become the preferred supplier for all glass claims across the whole of Brightside’s motor book.

According to Brightside executive chairman Mark Cliff, National will manage the whole process, including first notice of loss and all third-party administrators.

Cliff said National had invested heavily in maintaining both a mobile fleet of technicians and a fitting centre option.

“More vehicles have technology built into the glass, such as dashcams, or telematics beacons,” he said. “Factory conditions are needed to replace them, including flat floors and laser positioning, so we signed the contract extension with one eye very much on the future.”

Headquartered in Bristol, Brightside delivers car, home and business insurance to customers across the UK. The company distributes products through its brands and partner firms.

One of the fastest growing brokers, Brightside said it aims to be among the top 10 insurance intermediaries in the UK.
