Broker Network, whose Partners division recently snapped up Lockyers Ltd, has named a chief development officer and a chief operating officer for the acquisition arm.

Moving up from her integration director role is Susan Adcock, who will now serve as chief operating officer of Broker Network Partners. Meanwhile Richard Tuplin, who has worked as an independent broker for more than 18 years, is the division’s new chief development officer.

“I’m excited to be joining such a growing business and one which has such a strong federation of brands and management teams,” commented Tuplin, former regional director at Jelf Insurance Brokers. “I look forward to working with our partners so that we can fulfil the business plans.”

Aside from assisting partners, Tuplin will also support future acquisitions.

Adcock, meanwhile, will focus on running the operation including the integration of all regional partner and satellite swoops. “Delighted to be working alongside Richard,” she described the unit’s journey as one aimed at establishing ‘regional broking powerhouses’ across the UK.

“Richard’s background in regional broking and his market knowledge is invaluable and will only strengthen the support that we give to our current and future partners,” noted Broker Network’s Des O’Connor.

The chief commercial officer continued: “Susan has been part of the team since inception and has built solid relationships with our existing partners. Her new role will enable her to take much more of a strategic focus across the group.”
