Clear Insurance Management has made two senior appointments to its leadership team – a move in line with the continued development of its growth strategy.

Victoria Canton has been named group HR director, with responsibility for driving the strategic development of human resources across the group. According to a release, her goals include developing a pipeline of leaders who best represent Clear’s culture and values, as well as helping create a talented, diverse, skilled, and motivated workforce.

Canton joins Clear from Tokio Millennium Re, where she spent a decade working across global offices, and became a member of the global HR leadership team, overseeing the HR functions in the UK and Switzerland.

Clear has also appointed Jodie Horgan as group sales and marketing director, responsible for leading the company’s business development strategy. She was previously associated with Morrison Insurance Solutions, which was acquired by Clear in 2019. At Morrison, Horgan served a range of different roles, from claims to key client management, and from marketing to broking & sales management. She led the business development team at Morrison.

The appointments of Canton and Horgan come just weeks after Clear Group named Mike Edgeley as its newest CEO.

“Both Victoria and Jodie are great additions to the Clear Group and will play an integral part in supporting our ambitious development and growth strategy,” said Edgeley in a statement.

Edgeley added that the two new appointments come at an important time for Clear Group, as the company looks to strengthen its business support functions, which adds value to the company’s stakeholders.
